Getting started with Dr. Bernstein is easy.  We begin by making you an appointment for a private consultation with Dr. Bernstein.  We will send you 3 simple forms to fill out.  To make the most of your appointment time, Dr. Bernstein will review your forms prior to your visit. 
 
When you arrive,  Dr. Bernstein will meet privately with you in his consultation room.  The 2 of you will sit down and talk.  Dr. Bernstein will listen to you.  It is very important to him to find out what you want to see how he can help you. 
 
Dr. Bernstein will then see you in his treatment room.  He will do an oral cancer screening exam.  He will look at your teeth and gums.  He will check your bite.  He will feel your jaw joints.  He will gently touch your chewing muscles to see if they are uncomfortable.  Then he will take a complete set of digital photographs of your mouth which the two of you will look at on a big screen TV. 

After reviewing your forms, listening to what you want, and examining your mouth, problems and solutions begin to present themselves as you and Dr. Bernstein look at your photographs together. 
 
Your consultation with Dr. Bernstein will be over an hour of Dr. Bernstein's undivided attention.  Whether the two of you decide to work together or not, you will leave your consultation with a clear understanding of what is going on in your mouth.  While we understand that many offices offer free consultations, the comprehensive nature of Dr. Bernstein's consultations make the nominal fee an outstanding value.
